These beautiful variegated green, purple and pink leaves were photographed at the Mission Espada in San Antonio, Texas. Each leaf has a hot pink center, with a ring of deep purple, and finally green edges.
The mission was built in the 1700s and still holds mass services. In front of their beautiful church is a garden, planted in the ground, with planted flower pots running along the edge of the building.
This photograph was published by Fusion Art for their 8th Annual Leaves and Petals Exhibition, placing in their Honorable Mention category.
